Osteopathic Studies is pleased to announce a new course focused on the vascular system. We visited Maurice several times with the Osteopathy Studies team. It is a privilege to be trained by him and to receive his knowledge and skills. His vast experience, his dedication to osteopathy and his drive to share the knowledge he has acquired make him invaluable to our educational program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this new course, the Osteopathic Studies team guides you through the complicated connections of the arterial and venous system, in relation to the organs, the heart and the brain. By understanding these connections, we can improve our osteopathic skills and treat more accurately and effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this course you will be supported by a team of experienced colleagues, all trained by Maurice himself, and four of whom are teachers at the various osteopathy schools. This dedicated team provides lectures and hands-on labs to each individual and assists with the other classes, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They share with you the extensive knowledge of Maurice, who has more than 35 years of experience, and guide you in discovering or deepening his way of working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the course you integrate osteopathic principles with the latest scientific insights into the vascular system. Anatomy and physiology will be the guiding principles for building up the part of the vascular system that we will work on in different labs. We will investigate how we can practically apply this knowledge and improve our diagnostic and treatment skills. Short theoretical sessions are followed by hands-on labs, in which we will refine working on the vascular system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of this course, the goal is to have a deeper understanding of the vascular system and its impact on health. With the 2.5 day very practical course \u201cThe Vascular System \u2013 A Cranial Osteopathic Approach\u201d\u00a0the Osteopathic Studies team takes you on a journey through the vascular system.
Starting from the veins and arteries themselves, we will use practical sessions to experience how we can diagnose and treat a lesion or inflammation. We will also pay attention to safety, where we will \u201cwork\u201d with the heart, the viscera and the brain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maurice continues to reiterate that anatomy, physiology, structure, function are an important basis for diagnosis and treatment. In addition to this basic knowledge, visualization will also be used. We will combine and apply all of this through practical labs where we learn how to effectively use these different techniques to influence function during treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the course we go over the veins and arteries, the aorta, and various branches to and from costae, diaphragm, and viscerae as well as the vascular system to and from the brain.
We will use different techniques to help you find a lesion, obstruction and\/or inflammation and show and feel that everything is connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
